Giving Back
CORE: Children of Restaurant Employees
CORE: Children of Restaurant Employees is a national non-profit dedicated to serving food and beverage service employees with children to provide financial relief when either the employee spouse or their child faces a health crisis, injury, death, or natural disaster. CORE grants in all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico. Each grant is based on need and may cover rent, mortgage, utilities, prescription costs, medical therapies or equipment and more. A grant can range from $500 – $4,000 and help a family navigate their specific circumstance. An employee that meets CORE grant qualifications and who work in any type of foodservice or beverage service operation may apply online or a family can be referred.
As a Silver Partner, our commitment to the restaurant industry goes beyond simply printing menus, signage, and materials. We are proud to be part of a national network supporting families and helping service workers overcome obstacles in life because sometimes life does not go as planned.

SHARE OUR STRENGTH
Share Our Strength and its programs such as No Kid Hungry and Cooking Matters were founded to help children and families in low-income households lead healthier, less hungry lives.
Our relationship with Share Our Strength began in the mid 2000’s through our involvement with the restaurant industry. Now for over a decade, we have been honored to work with Share Our Strength on a variety of projects, providing our care and expertise to an organization committed to bettering the lives of some of our society’s most vulnerable members.
When you become part of No Kid Hungry, you’re joining a movement of teachers, chefs, community leaders, parents, lawmakers and CEOs with a shared belief: no kid in America should go hungry.
CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER MOBILE
The Child Advocacy Center is the only social service agency in Mobile County that provides free services to help child abuse victims and their non-offending family members, and we are the only agency charged with the responsibility of coordinating services and interventions in cases of child sexual abuse.
For several years we have supported the Serve it With for Love tennis tournament through providing all of the marketing and printed materials to promote the event which raises over $100,000 annually.

LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR
The Little Sisters of the Poor continues the work of Saint Jeanne Jugan by offering the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be cared for as family and accompanied with dignity. The sisters have been serving Mobile since 1901 with reverence and compassion, nurturing communities by valuing each person and celebrating the wisdom of age and the solidarity of the human family.
We are proud to assist Little Sisters of the Poor in a variety of ways, including supporting fundraisers and donating printed products such as quarterly newsletters.
A Philosophy of Loving Care
The Little Sisters of the Poor humbly care for the elderly poor of all backgrounds through ministering medical, emotional, and spiritual care with love and respect.
